Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager this role is an integral part of the Compliance Team within AJW's operations. The Inventory Compliance Executive is responsible for the management and compliance of the inventory data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness within Quantum. 

What you'll be doing

  • To make sure that the stock we deal in is ‘compliant’ and to the most cost-effective modification standard and to ensure that we have the ‘right part, in the right place’.

  • Maintain part number data integrity: part number formats, classification of part type, tax category, application, condition codes, alternates, etc.

  • Monitor cyclic audits and physical inventory counts and rectify accordingly e.g. variance reconciliation and assisting with external auditors and subsequent findings.

  • Understand financial controls relating to stock management and able to guide the business on efficient methods relating to the financial control of stock assets and operational information about customer performance.

  • Ensure quality requirements are in line with regulations and procedures, including shelf life and scraping.

  • Undertake multiple projects relating to Inventory optimization and accuracy.

Job requirements

About you

  • Ability to analyse data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and develop effective solutions. 

  • Process awareness and attention to quality

  • Strong focus on accuracy in data entry, record keeping, and audit procedures. 

  • Understands basic inventory principles and data structures, including part classifications and condition codes.

  • Good communication and escalation skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain an organized work environment

  • Experience with inventory management software and tools for tracking and reporting - Desirable

  • Willingness to learn and apply new procedures
