Strategic Buyer C&E

The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Buyer with a strong background in aviation to join our rapidly expanding Sofia office.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering on our Group Procurement Strategic Plan, managing supplier/category allocations, and driving value through cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance. You’ll play a key role in supporting major C&E contracts for a key customer (circa $20m annually / $200m over 10 years), ensuring materials and services are available while safeguarding business performance.

What we’re looking for:

✔ Proven aviation procurement/sourcing experience (essential)
✔ Strong commercial awareness and supplier management skills
✔ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, even when challenging the status quo (e.g. supplier consolidation)
✔ Comfortable with technology – able to define requirements, manage data effectively, and enable automation (e.g. PO creation)
✔ Understanding of the wider commercial environment and variables affecting procurement decisions
