Warehouse Operative - Day Shift

As a Warehouse Operative, you will form a part of one of the largest and most important departments at AJW. You will be supporting the efficient running of the Warehouse by quickly and correctly receiving, picking, and sending out aircraft components to our customers around the world. 

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a day shift pattern- 4 on 4 off working between the hours of 0700-1900. Please specify which you will prefer in the application. This role has a base salary + a shift allowance of £3,000 per annum for day.

About the role

• Ensure orders are correctly collected

• Ensure paperwork is collected, collated, and completed

• Move parts into the correct location and scan as required

• Effective communication, monitoring emails, and answering phone calls

• Correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• Check product data (Quantity, Part Number, Batch/Serial)

• Correctly handle parts

• Check packaging conditions

• Follow established health and safety policies and procedures

• Maintaining and properly storing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Correctly and safely load the handling equipment

• Ideally, you'll have previous warehouse experience

• Can you confidently use MS office? Your IT skills will allow you to easily use MS Excel and Outlook and we’ll give you the necessary training on our inhouse systems.

• You’ll have a keen eye for detail, allowing you to correctly identify the required shipments. You’ll be able to work at a fast pace whilst ensuring that all work is correct.
