The opportunity

AJW Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Chef to join our in-house kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who is looking to step away from the demanding shift patterns of the hospitality industry and embrace a stable, Monday to Friday role – no evenings or weekends required.

About the Role:

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef to support the daily preparation and service of high-quality meals for our on-site galley, catering for up to 500 employees. In addition, you’ll assist with the delivery of bespoke hospitality for senior-level meetings, C-suite events, and Chairman-hosted functions as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations

  • Prepare fresh, high-quality food for our busy staff galley

  • Support the planning and delivery of hospitality for high-level corporate events

  • Ensure all food is prepared and served in line with food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Job requirements

About you

  1. Previous experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or corporate catering environment

  2. Confident in preparing food at volume without compromising quality

  3. A team player with a flexible and proactive attitude

  4. Comfortable supporting occasional high-profile hospitality events

  5. Passionate about great food and customer service

  6. Relevant food hygiene certifications preferred
