The opportunity

AJW are looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Executive to ensure the safe, compliant and timely movement of aircraft parts across a global supply chain. Based in Sofia, you will play a key role in supporting AJW’s global teardown projects and closely tracking customer repairs to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment, communicate clearly, solve problems quickly and help maintain efficient, reliable logistics operations for our customers.

Key Duties

  • Manage the booking, movement and tracking of all parts within the teardown supply chain, keeping all parties informed of progress or delays.

  • Monitor and track customer repairs and off‑core units, resolving issues quickly to avoid disruption.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency across teardown and repair logistics.

  • Ensure full compliance with aviation, customs, export control and dangerous goods regulations.

  • Prepare and validate all logistics documentation, including invoices, airway bills, packing lists and customs paperwork.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and logistics partners to support smooth end‑to‑end movements.

  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting new ways of working and helping implement changes.

Job requirements

About you

Essential

  • Strong IT skills (Office 365).

  • Clear communication skills.

  • Ability to solve problems under pressure.

  • Reliable, accurate and organised.

  • Quick to learn and adapt.

  • Strong time‑management and ability to prioritise.

  • Team player who can also work independently

  • Background in aviation logistics.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of export controls, customs and dangerous goods.

  • Experience in aviation or airline operations.

  • Familiarity with systems like Quantum, Power BI or AMOS

  • Understanding of IATA/ADR shipping rules.
