Job description
The opportunity
We are seeking an MRO Executive to join our aviation team in Sofia. This role forms part of our global network and operates as a direct extension of our Headquarters in Horsham, UK. The Sofia team plays a critical role in supporting international MRO activity, supplier management, and component repair operations across multiple regions.
You will manage repair orders, coordinate with approved MRO vendors worldwide, and ensure aircraft components are repaired, certified, and returned in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll be doing
Manage end-to-end repair cycle for aircraft components.
Obtain and review repair quotations from approved MRO vendors.
Negotiate repair pricing and turnaround times (TAT).
Issue and manage repair orders within ERP systems.
Monitor component status and proactively manage delays.
Review repair documentation for compliance (EASA / FAA certification).
Liaise with logistics teams to coordinate shipment and returns.
Support AOG requirements where urgent repair coordination is needed.
Maintain accurate cost and supplier performance records.
Job requirements
About you
Experience in aviation MRO, repairs, or component trading.
Understanding of aviation certification and traceability requirements.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple repair orders simultaneously.
Good attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
ERP system experience (aviation systems advantageous).
Fluent English (written and spoken).
