Repairs Operations Executive

The opportunity

Join AJW as a Supplier Operations Executive and play a key part in managing aircraft component repairs. In this role, you’ll collaborate with suppliers and customers to monitor orders, resolve challenges, and ensure on-time deliveries—strengthening our partnerships and supporting exceptional service across the aviation industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

• Manage and track repair orders, providing regular updates.

• Negotiate repair costs when needed.

• Meet performance targets and contract requirements.

• Expedite urgent parts to keep operations running.

• Monitor supplier performance using internal systems.

• Support improvement plans and solve root issues.

• Flag and fix problems that impact operations.

• Assist with other tasks as required by the team

About you

Essential:

• Experience in aviation or with aircraft components.

• Strong admin skills in a busy office.

• Confident using Outlook and Excel.

• Great customer service and relationship skills.

• Proactive, organised, and detail-focused.

• Clear communicator with strong time management.

• Able to prioritise tasks and meet KPIs.

Desirable:

• Background in MRO, repairs, or trading.

• Keen to develop in repair cycle management.

• Analytical with reporting experience.

• Familiar with systems like ILS, Airbus World, Quantum, or AMOS.
